I'm delighted to announce the new Mar-Low Carbon Community website... for those watching their footprints... is up and running!

(Courtesy of 4ecotips, Imre Ltd, TimeOUT retreats, Carbon Coach Ltd and others.)

http://www.marlowcarbon.com

It needs you to use it... share it... fill it up... with all good things!

The hope is that it becomes a place where the people of Marlow post their local low-carb information, events, links, ideas, tips...

...of the people... by the people... for the people... of Marlow and its environs...

Is it just me or are more people walking and biking of late  ;-)

Maybe it's the mild 'summer'!  You may have noticed there has been quite a bit of climate change opinion in the Marlow/Bucks Free Press of late, especially letters column!  e.g. http://www.bucksfreepress.co.uk/opinion/yourletters/display.var.1629436.0.climate_change_is_a_real_danger_to_us.php

Watt else? Are you a 10 tonner?

Just a quick invitation to you all - if you haven't yet - to check out the size of your carbon feet on the quick and easy carbon calculator on MSN

http://specials.uk.msn.com/carbonemissionsestimator

Many people have found this a great introduction to the art of keeping tags on your carbon weight...

best wishes

Dave
